Short Term Missions

Deborah Mitchell is the Missions Coordinator for World Outreach Worship Center. Her passion and love seeks to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ and train others that are called to the mission field.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,…" (Matthew 28:19).

The Great Commission commands that all hear the word and learn about Jesus who came, died and rose again for all of us. They have never known that they could find peace. They have never been told that God loves them.

Romans 10:14-16 says "How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!'"

This is what a short term missions trip does. It lets an individual or group of people go into the 10/40 window and surrounding areas to minister to the unreached people groups. Unless someone intentionally goes and speaks to these unreached people, they will die without hope and without hearing the name of Jesus Christ.

By training nationals to carry the Gospel throughout their country and beyond, we will be able to multiply our efforts and reach remote areas where we could not normally travel.

If you feel God is calling you to be part of our team, please call the Church for more information, Monday – Friday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at 757-874-1223.
