Chaplaincy

The World Outreach Worship Church (WOWC) Chaplains Ministry began in 2007 and has consistently served WOWC members and the local community since its inception.


Mission: The chaplain's ministry is about caring for others.


What We Do:

            - Home visits

            - Hospital visits

            - Nursing home visits

            - Minister in the workplace 

            - Send encouraging cards, emails, texts

            - Deliver meals

            - Provide shopping/run errands

            - Provide transportation

            - Offer grief care

            - Pray with individuals in need

            - Attend funerals and memorials

            - Give Sermons at nursing homes and assisted living facilities

            - Support our WOWC shut-ins

 

Qualification requirements: Training to become a local certified WOWC Chaplain consists of one all-day training class, plus endorsement from the WOWC Senior Pastor.  Certified WOWC Chaplains attend four quarterly training sessions per year to maintain certification.
